BEFORE FORM
Form comes later. Before that, I look for what gives a project weight: the way it needs to stand, what it needs to communicate, and how it should be perceived once it enters the world. Because design, to me, starts there.
VISUAL DIRECTION
That’s the point of view behind my work.
I'm Asia Privitera, a visual designer based in Italy.
I grew up looking at images long before I could truly understand them. Maybe that is where my way of working comes from, now as a graphic designer:
from the need to find, within design and visual communication, something that is not only beautiful, but alive. Today I work in Catania, Sicily, a place that still shapes the way I look at things.
