Letters in free fall, like Alice
There are alphabets that can’t just be read. They cross each other. They suffer. They dream: Typovision was born from an obsession: to capture, in a system of forms, all the ambiguity of Alice in Wonderland. Not the sweetened Alice, not the children’s story. But that world there: unstable, disorientating, visionary. Where every rule bends, every logic twists, every step is a stumble.
Task
The font had to be the result of a long immersion in the story's underground. Starting with the story: Carroll's words, the deformed images of those who reinterpreted it, the bizarre and disturbing creatures that populate Alice's dreams. Objective: the traces, collected symbols, peeked behind the mirrors
